Apples for tarte tatin

I know 'a bad worker blames their tools' but I don't think I shall succeed properly at Tarte Tatin until I buy a proper Tarte Tatin dish. I've only discovered it recently as a dish, thinking it was just French for apple pie, which I'm not keen on!
