London's Parish church. There have been six churches on this spot, and before that a Roman Temple. Escaping bombing in the Blitz it is deeply symbolic for Londoners. It's also exquisitely beautiful, and a comforting landmark. Not obscuring the view of St Paul's is an important planning consideration.
