We went for a trip along the Regent's Canal.
We spotted a couple of nearly-new mansions which were grand and opulent, and surprisingly understatedly tasteful.
I am a fan of innovative beautiful new architecture, but super-rich people are often tempted to display their entire bad taste in super-kitsch monstrosities. So neo-classical is probably the best bet.
