Our boat
This is the boat we set out from Taba onto the Gulf of Aqaba.
I asked the captain permission to go up to the bow. He said I wasn't allowed to go alone. I looked at him questioningly. He started explaining that Titanic, Leonardo di Caprio etc etc etc. He was a joker, our cap'n.
When I decided to go into the water, climbing gingerly down the ladder, he threw a bucket of water over me. He did the same to a chap. Another chap, who had already demonstrated he was a powerful swimmer was pushed in...!
