Thank you for your comments and compliments. I wish you'd re-found me in the scrum and said hello - next time just go ahead. But it was rather crowded there though, wasn't it?

Whereabouts were you sat? Good view?

I'm looking at my site stats and the pressure is unbelievable (first specific request for a Proms review came at 12.15, less than half an hour after I got home).

I absolutely promise to write a proper considered review within the next 24 hours, but I was so buzzing when I got home I didn't get to sleep until 2, I woke up before the alarm, and I've got two meetings at work today, one which will require detailed preparation.

I'm not a huge opera fan, but I watched it on Four tonight, and you've got to say the sense of occasion and audience reaction was incredible. The roar at the end of Act I nearly took the roof off...
